The West Georgia Christian Wranglers is a High School baseball team made up of athletes that are homeschooled or attend Christian schools which are too small for a team of their own. The ages of the athletes may range from at least 13 years old to less than 19 years old (as of September 1, 2007) and they must be enrolled in grades 8 through 12. For the past two spring seasons, we have practiced and played our home games at Fairplay Park in western Douglas County. We are currently looking for a field more centrally located to offer the team a choice.

Our goal is to provide high school aged athletes a chance to continue to play baseball beyond the recreation leagues. Often, homeschooled families and athletes are faced with the choice of quitting the homeschool program or giving up a sport that they love and enjoy. Many families choose to enroll their children so that they do not miss out on playing a sport that they themselves enjoyed. It is our desire to eliminate the need for these types of choices by offering a quality program for Homeschool and Christian school athletes.

In addition to the advantage of the student getting to continue on with their homeschool or Christian school education program and play their sport, they also get the advantage of playing in a Christian environment. They will not be subjected to foul or vulgar language but will play in an atmosphere of Christian respect for themselves and others.

The West Georgia Christian Wranglers are completely non-profit. Team funds may come from team members, fund raisers, and donations. Team members and their families are invited to view the team's income and expenses anytime they wish.
